| *** So I've officially quit as a professional. I no longer wish to follow a life with photography as my main career. I feel like if I make it my mission to make photography my life's work, it will be just that....work. I want to keep my photography passionate and alive, raw and breathtaking. In order to do so, I have to keep my passions separate from my work life. And so, I quit. ha! Simple as that. So now that I am free of the professionalization that comes with being a freelancer, I have begun to pursue other ideas and concepts as an experimental photographer. I just created an account under the username; World-Campaign. I plan to use it to promote my newest project. Its a huge idea that will take up a lot of time and energy...but I feel like I can do this for the rest of my life. Make it my 'thing', or so to speak. As with the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign just completed, I plan to research other causes around the world that I feel passionate about and create separate photos shoots for each one. Each shoot will represent my own take on the subject and will be available for sale. 100percent of all proceeds will be donated to the specific cause. | My Longing. Big brown eyes pierce the skies, of my heart, my soul, my longing. Deep within me burns a flame, and so I wait, I wait, I wait... With deepest sighs, those big drown eyes, are all my heart calls for. A gaze that burns so deep within, its a wonder how I could have been, alive without those eyes to give, my soul its life, its light...my longing. Days pass by and still those eyes, those perfect eyes of brown, are my only weakness shown, my hearts desire boldly exposed, for all to see but judge me not! For if presented you those eyes, surely you would not disguise, a hunger thundering deep inside, for such a beautiful paradise, that are those eyes, those big Brown eyes. Kings and Queens have tried to own it! Birds and beasts have come to fear it! But none can tame the splendid perfection, boldness wrapped in purest temptation, of my one, my only, Brown-eyed boy. Days turn into weeks and still, the burning of my heart could kill! All I ask for, all I plead, is the calming of these painful seas. Yet, even in the darkest nights, those big Brown eyes pierce the skies, giving light to the path at hand, leading my soul to our far-away land. So here I sit, here I wait, thoughts wrapped around our twisted fate. Is this some game? Some child's play? To be without you all this time, how could I possibly survive? When all I long for, all I crave, with the passing of each lonesome day, just those eyes, those beautiful eyes, of my one, my only, Brown-eyed boy. Not a soul could comprehend, the depths to which my heart has no end, I long for you boy, come home to me! At last we can be a family, together forever, till the death of time, Just you, and me, and those big Brown eyes. |
